- First foal: Quintello, internationally succesful jumper
A breeding mare with a unique pedigree. Dakora H7 is linebred for both the great Cor de la Bryère as well as for the founding mare of the Holstein damline 7126.
She is an awarded breeding mare registered both in the Holstein and the Oldenburg-International studbooks.
Dakora’s oldest foal Quintello (from Quebec) is an internatonal Grand Prix-level jumper. Among others, Quintello took part of the Global Champions Tour in 2011, and in 2013 he was a member of the Canadian jumping team in Wellington at the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup with Erynn Ballard (videos from Quintello at the bottom of the page).
Dakora H7’s father, Acord II:
Acord II’s pedigree combines the two stars of the Zangersheide studbook, Almé and Heureka, with the added bonus of Cor de la Bryère, and the thoroughbred Ladykiller. Acord II comes from the Holstein mare family 7126.
Acord II was the winner of his stallion performance test, ranking 1st in jumping and 2nd in dressage, and was vice champion in the jumper division at the Bundeschampionate in 1992. His offsprings have a very good reputation for being elegant and typey, with a willing attitude and excellent jumping technique.
Dakora H7’s maternal side:
Dakora H7′ mother Dakota IV (by Caletto I) is from the very same Holstein mare family (7126) as Acord II. This damline produced many famous jumpers and sires like Fra Diavolo, Acord I-II-III, Burggraaf, USA Today (ridden by Robert Whitaker), or Bella Donna (ridden by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum).
From the 10 registered progeny of Dakota IV, 4 jumpers already reached national or international level, furthermore, two others compete in dressage.
